Angel Pets at the Rainbow Bridge begin with sympathy to Judy V on the passing of Kara, never having found her fur-ever home, Bob on the passing of Hermann, Mindi & Steve on the passing of Sophie, Barb on the passing of SnowBall, Josie on the passing of Trixie & Molly, Vicky on the passing of Gizmo, Diane on the passing of Tiny, Dorothy on the passing of Buttons. K-9 Bereavement Counselor contact is Michelle at mzcgrief@yahoo.com if you need to talk with someone who understands your grief.

Foster Care fur-kids have their profiles noted accordingly. The foster updates help you and us know if a particular fur-kid is suitable for your home. Andrea is fostering the whiskered ones. Andrea prefer felines over canines & there are plenty of whiskers to rescue!

The Good Samaritan Care Center visits were Miles & Cinderella making the rounds with Marti, Allan & me. Later that same day Miles & Cinder attended the Boys & Girls Elementary Torch Club of the Cole Camp School , Grades K-5. We discussed kindness to pets with 24 children. The children had made pet treats & also pet pillows out of gently used T-shirts. What a colorful collection! The key objectives of the club are character development, leadership building & service projects geared at giving back to the community.

Adoptions moved along nicely. Mildred failed Fostering 101, adopted Elmo. Judy V handled the adoption of Rose, Halley, Ms. Effie, Cream Puff. Susan & Judith handled the adoption of Delilah. Andrea handled the adoption of Whiskers. Susan handled the adoption of Katie. Marti handled the adoption of Miles. Jedediah Curtis & Boyd finished the month getting their fur-ever homes. TEAMwork! Together Everyone Achieves Much! The fosters are PRICELESS! We need more great foster homes to save more lives. Petey the Cole Camp Pound black lab/pit bull mix finally got his fur-ever home! He was the longest resident at the pound.

We have an alert from one of our adopters that we feel must be discussed with those of you that have adopted kennel dogs. You may read about the hospitalization of Cirri due to poo eating. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=1077928 When we got this information & shared it with some of our adopters, Mindi advised us that their vet was asking the same thing about Sophie, poo eating? Sadly, Sophie became an Angel Dog the next day, never recovered. We know she must be with Charlie Brown, lighting up the Rainbow Bridge for Christmas & "Woofing" in Happy New Year!

This is the time of year to check that medicine cabinet, throw away outdated drugs. Review your Vial of Life (www.vialoflife.com) & any other medical directives.

www.petfinder.com continues to make this life saving work possible. Rural area, internet exposure helps our fur-kids get fur-ever homes. Check out their home page weekly for updates on all they do to help us help those that cannot speak for themselves.

We could not do this work without your continued support. God bless you each & every one. A special "THANKS" to those that sent or brought gifts for the fur-kids. Your kindness is simply overwhelming! God luv ya'll! Your generosity has helped make life much better for our rescued fur-kids as they continue to wait patiently for a fur-ever home. Rescue life is good yet a fur-ever home is better!

And last, but not least, a very special prayer for those in uniform keeping us safe & free. In the words of a very dear friend "How would we have the ability to take the time, enjoy the right to do so, if not for the sacrifices made, by our men and women in uniform? Perhaps today, they are sitting in a trench, walking a patrol, in harm's way ... Freedom has never been free: they are making payments. To our men and women in uniform: Thank You!"
