Finding Pets Fur-Ever Homes

www.7bellssanctuary.petfinder.com

Bridge Kids began with Daisy leaving behind Nancy, Mike & fur-brother Sully,
Chipper also left leaving behind Barb to mourn. And, Katie left leaving behind Carl to mourn. Also leaving for the Rainbow Bridge was Allie who left Judy V. behind to mourn. Cinderella also left leaving all who knew her (especially Judy H.) behind to mourn.

Foster Care makes a world of difference on the number of lives we may save.

Adoptions began with Kia leaving foster mom Judy V.; Lil Harold & Brownie left foster parents Susan & Karl with Judy V. to head down to Arkansas; HogDog/Angus left foster mom Andrea to go to his new home; Molly & Kayla also got their fur-ever homes; Jenny was also adopted; Kayla left foster mom Judy V to go to her new home also.

Our "Pay It Forward" program is benefiting the Cole Camp Food Pantry. It also helps with families selected by the school in the communities of our foster parents. We ask our adopters to bring part of their adoption fee in human food items. Those items are then donated to Cole Camp food pantry or donated to families selected by the foster family's school as needing a bit of help. We are so happy with this ongoing program.

The Lincoln Gang, a group of foster homes in that town, made a group presentation to The Place at the Lake with the adoption of Bear from a Lincoln foster home. The Place at the Lake helps women in crisis.

Cole Camp Pound Boston terrier mix, Jenny, is now in our rescue, being fostered by the Lincoln Gang. Puppy Buddy was the first Cole Camp pound pooch to have his picture posted in the Cole Camp Courier, ad sponsored by Fox Funeral Home of Cole Camp. He was then neutered & vaccinated with Pennies for Pooches, collection jars about town. Both the young husky male and the black labrador, neutered, were returned to their owner. Then along came a very pregnant Treeing Walker Coonhound. At least she will have a dog house, straw, water, feed, close eye kept on her by the city workers.

You can make a difference for the pet population by purchasing "I’m Pet Friendly" license plates. http://mda.mo.gov/animals/health/petfriendly.php

Wish List - We are so grateful when we receive those gently used items. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Our sewing ladies still need old jeans. You may drop them off at Rosebud Gifts & Fabric, downtown Cole Camp or mail them to us at 26152 Donkey Ln., Cole Camp MO 65325

We give thanks to each of you who so generously give of your time & talents to help these fur-kids as they wait patiently for their fur-ever homes. Rescue life is good, yet a fur-ever home is best. We could not do this work without your continued support. God bless you each & every one.

And last, but not least, a very special prayer for those in uniform keeping us safe & free. In the words of a dear friend "How would we have the ability to take the time, enjoy the right to do so, if not for the sacrifices made, by our men and women in uniform? Perhaps today, they are sitting in a trench, walking a patrol, in harm's way ... Freedom has never been free: they are making payments. To our men and women in uniform: Thank You!"
