Most of the dogs at 7 Bells Sanctuary are microchipped either by us or they were microchipped when they came into our rescue.

You must contact the manufacturer of the microchip upon adoption and update the information with them.  

You must PERSONALLY submit the microchip information after adoption.

Then VERIFY that it was updated in the records of the manufacturer 30 days later.

If you move or change telephone number, please update the information with the manufacturer of the microchip.

Notify your vet of the new address, phone information.

Also, notify the rescue/shelter you adopted from.

If you don't update the information with the manufacturer and your dog gets loose the microchip company will end up calling us instead of you.  Your attention to detail will help your pet be reunited with you quickly.
